Control Protocol Device ID

Set the Kaleidescape Control Protocol Device ID so CineMotion and your player communicate correctly.

Set Control Protocol Device ID to "02"

For proper communication between the CineMotion Posters player and Kaleidescape, we recommend setting the Control Protocol Device ID to "02" (the default CineMotion tries first). For quick reference, do the following to change or confirm the control protocol ID:

1. On a computer connected to the same network, open a web browser.
2. Go to http://my-kaleidescape.local and navigate to Settings.
3. Locate the desired player and select Settings along the bottom.
4. Select the Control tab at the top of the window.
5. Choose Show Advanced Control Settings.
6. Set Control Protocol Device ID to "02".
7. Select OK to save and exit.
